Here is a blast from the past!!! The Honda Silverwing GL500 Interstate!! The GL500 Silverwing is a variant of the CX series motorcycles.  It is a mid-sized touring bike based on the CX500 engine.  Its liquid cooled V-twin drives the rear wheel via a low-maintenance shaft drive on the right side of the bike.  The saddle bags are easy to remove.  This one has a passenger back rest on it too!! Overall it is a fun and reliable ride. Elegant in its own odd way, the Silver Wing has brought luxury touring capabilities to the 500cc class. The Silver Wing’s console is complete and convenient—easy to read gauges and indicator lights, temp gauge, trip meter, choke, ignition switch and front fork air valve. Honda’s liquid cooled 497 cc 80° V-twin engine is similar but not identical to the CX 500 engine. It is radical and practical all at once; a surprisingly capable powerplant. This one has been fully serviced, and it runs, and rides very well!! We did install a new rear tire on it, it is ready to tour the country side!!!
