1981 Yamaha XS650SH,

The 650 Special was one of Yamaha’s most popular models of the era. It was known for being a reliable and comfortable early cruise when metric cruisers were just beginning to appear. It was certainly one of  the best looking cruisers  of its time.

This odometer indicates a very low 800+ miles and the condition supports it. We’ve recommissioned the bike thoroughly including carb clean, brake system rebuild and air cleaner refresh. The fuel tank was repainted with correct Yamaha New Black because of some splatter that affected the original paint. Everything else is OEM original.

This example cam from New Jersey and appears to be a one owner bike before I got it. The last NJ inspection sticker is still on the bike from 1986! It’s been in storage until we restored it to proper running condition. Starts and runs as new!
