Up for sale is this 1987 HARLEY DAVIDSON FXSTC SOFTAIL CUSTOM with full custom paint job and extensive hand-engraved chrome throughout.

The bike spent its entire life in Montreal, Canada in heated storage and has 18,000 original miles. It was owned by a family member in Canada and recently transported back to the US for sale and servicing. This includes cleaning the gas tanks and carburetor, fluids changed (engine, primary, transmission). The brakes, including front master cylinder were rebuilt, system flushed and refilled with DOT 5 silicone fluid. The plugs were cleaned and re-gapped, chain cleaned and lubricated, new battery installed. The engine started right up after this recent work and runs and rides great. The tires have substantial tread, but should be replaced due to their age.

In addition to the custom paint job, the bike has chrome custom wheels, chrome brake disk covers, chrome sprocket and guard, chrome swing arm, chrome tool box, chrome engraved rack, custom seats, chrome custom turn signals, chrome custom rear fender thrusts, chrome axle nut covers, full set chrome bolt head toppers, engraved chrome engine guard, air scoop with custom painted butterfly valve, stainless steel braided cables. The bike has a custom headlight, custom drag bar and risers, chrome hand switches, lever controls and grips.

The bike was hand painted back in 1994 by a well-known Canadian artist Lartix. His initials and year of painting are painted on the gas tank. It has extensive air brushing and a metallic paint finish. The chrome parts were hand engraved by another well-known Canadian engraver, with elaborate scroll work and lettering on numerous chrome parts throughout the bike.

The bike has a clean New Hampshire Title. The bike is available for inspection in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire, about an hour North of Boston. Contact me if you want to see some videos of the bike running, or have any questions. Listing will be deleted when sold.
