1981 Kawasaki KZ305 CSR – Low Miles – Project Bike

Up for sale is a 1981 Kawasaki KZ305 CSR with just 1,340 original miles showing. The bike is mostly complete and would make an excellent project for someone looking to build a reliable everyday rider or restore a classic early-80s Kawasaki.

The engine turns over, but the bike does not currently run. It will need to be gone through before riding, including attention to the carburetors and brakes, along with the usual recommissioning items expected from a bike that has been sitting. Some of the chrome components were previously painted with a matte finish, which is now wearing off in spots, leaving a mix of original chrome and paint.

We have not inspected the inside of the fuel tank, as the tank lock is currently stuck. Condition inside is unknown. Overall, this is a solid candidate for a project—great platform, low miles, and classic styling.
