The Honda GL1100 started with the model year 1980 and continued thru 1983 before being replaced by the GL1200. The 1983 in our opinion is the best of the GL1100 models, as it incorporated all the latest changes, including the linked brakes and much better looking full aluminum cast mag wheels (prior years had the riveted Comstar wheels).

This bike is in excellent running condition, and everything works like it should. It has a brand new pair of Shinko brand 230 touring tires. It also has a fresh oil & filter change. Great bike for cruising, super comfortable, and plenty of power. And gotta love the classic naked ‘Wing looks.

That said….please keep in mind this vintage motorcycle is over 40 years old. It is a machine, and it is an old machine. It very possibly could break or something could go wrong the first time you ride it. We hope that doesn’t happen, and we go over these vintage machines to locate potential issues before they leave…but they are old motorcycles. You must know your way around a toolbox if you plan to own a 40+ year old motorcycle. We prefer you come look at the bike in person yourself before purchasing, but if not feasible, we can happily send extra pictures of whatever you’d like to see. But once purchased, this bike has no return or refund period, and is of course sold AS IS, no warranty whatsoever. So please understand what you are buying.
